I really wish I had some close friends here in New York. Sure I have some friends, but not anyone I could call whenever and just talk about anything with, or anyone I could do anything anytime with. At home, I could be out hanging with the best friends anyone could ever ask for 24/7 if I really wanted to. It’s not like that here. Maybe I should try harder, and also try to not be so shy.

I’ve finally decided on my semester photography project. I hate it. It feels so restricting. Now I’m not taking photos that I want to take, but instead I’m taking photos that fit with the project. It makes lower quality images because I’m taking a photo for an idea rather than a final image. It takes the joy out of taking a picture. I’ve already missed a few good...
